I need new string and cables.Whats the
quietest material for hunting bow.

What kind of bow? If it's a compound it doesn't make as much difference in my opinion, I have tried several types and brands, and have seen no difference in noise of you a good string stop, and some monkey tails or the like. On a recurve I think it would make a bigger difference due to there being no string stop.

I haven’t run the new BCY-X99 material yet but will have my new set built with it when the time comes. I’ve been shooting X for the last 3-4 years and have installed the same compound on a lot of customer bows. It’s in the process of being phased out but X is the best stuff I have shot in terms of the total package (speed, wearability, softness on the shot and stability). There is still a lot of X material out there with builders and I know 60X still has a lot. I would have a set built out of that compound and wouldn’t look back.
