What Red dot for a Mini 14

Nothing expensive as I really do not know how much I will use it. Basically for a hog rifle at close range! Besides the Red Dot, what else will I need to mount it?

Just got a vortex strike fire 2 for a couple of bills from optics planet. I like it solid unit.

Got a Bushnell on mine. Bought it several yrs ago @ Wally World for $99.99+T. My Mini is in an Archangel chassis so I did not need a rail to mount. Rifle has had a couple thousand rounds through it since with no problem. Had to change the battery once and as of a couple weeks ago it"s still good and still on target since the first sighting. Haven't seen one lately in stores so don't know if it's still in production.

I have a Bushnell TRS 25 on a Super Blackhawk 44 and have been happy with it. Been shooting out to 70 yards.
