Congrats on the bull and a great story.

You need to post up more of your hunts here, it's the stuff many of us really love most about this site....sharing good stories.

I went with Mayflower Outfitters. Loved everything about them.

                ***WARNING ABOUT CANADA***

I forgot to mention earlier. I flew in with two bows in a SKB dual bow case. When I got to lodge, I went to their range to confirm everything was in order with my bow prior to going into field. My first shot went 2 feet clear left of the target. Confused, I took a look at my bow. Upon looking it over, someone between Dallas and Newfoundland took my bow (and probably the Allen wrench set I had in same case), loosed my rest, moved it almost all of the way to the left, and cinched down so hard they almost tripped my bolt. Luckily, I caught the issue and got bow dialed back in relatively quickly. Here is a picture:

Additionally, in Toronto, two bow hunters from Colorado were waiting to get on flight with me to Newfoundland. 5 minutes before boarding, they got a call up and told customs "BELIEVED" there was a rifle in one of their bow cases. They ended up missing the flight and I believe they said the flight was not going to put them on another flight for free. Those poor guys were understandably ****** off.

It's not going to prevent me from going up there in future, but I may just ship my bows up in advance through Fedex or UPS to bypass these kind of headaches...

Outstanding! Looks like a blast and I'm certain you'll be eating like kings on that table fare. Great job and good luck to those still hunting.

Almost every meal up there was moose. It has taken the place of pronghorn as my favorite game meat.
