Guns season in Ohio I was about 2 minutes in and took a shot.

Dont remember what time it was but I killed a deer with a rifle walking to the stand opening morning. Actually more of a sprint since I woke up late.

I climbed up anyway and sat there thinking about how an entire summer of work was over before the sun came up

From the time the Game Warden got the gate open and pulled up to the skinning rack, I tagged it!

2 hrs 30 minutes opening day, my very 1st bow hunt. It was at Lake Georgetown a couple of years ago. Then almost 3 hours carting the thing out of my spot.

My very first sit as a bow hunter - opening morning about 20 years ago. A doe walked by my tree less than 10 minutes after legal light. I shot her and she fell within sight. I thought "man, this bow hunting stuff is easy!" I think it took over 3 years to kill my second one.
