    Black Powder Dueling Pistols

I recently acquired two dueling pistols one is a flint lock pistol and the other is a percussion cap pistol . I have looked online and have come up empty. Hopefully the green screen can help me out
First is the flint lock smooth bore

    Percussion cap with rifled barrel

Any info about these guns is very much appreciated
    Thanks in advance

No problem. Are there any proof marks on the percussion cap pistol? if so google proof marks and dig around till you find one that matches.

To be totally honest with you I paid less than that for the pair. Don’t even know how to safely shoot them but I think they’re really cool and couldn’t pass up $20 per gun

They are not necessarily dueling pistols. Dueling pistols were usually ornate and rather fancy. Send pics and descriptions to GunsandAmmo, Garry James specifically. If he can't identify them for you, no one can.

2f in the barrel, wadding/patch, round ball then rod it in. 2f in the pan. Shoot it!

Muzzleloaderforum.com for identification and load specs

The bottom one looks like a Mountain Pistol. Looks kinda like a Lyman. Maybe made by Investment Arms.

I say looks like. Not absolutely sure.

I think CVA may have made one.

The top one looks to be made by Sitting Fox.

I think the first on3 is a kit from track of the wolf
