Default A Night At The Rodeo

I've been wanting to take the Pentax out tot he rodeo since I got it and finally made our way out there tonight. I'm still having trouble in low light with the tradeoff between shutter speed/ISO either washing out the pic with noise or not being fast enough to clearly catch the action. Any tips/tricks are appreciated.

And now for the pixels.

The colors.

Cowboy protection

Making 8

Over your hand

Breakaway roping

Waiting for the next go round

The chase

Kidlets

Buckle bunnies

All shot with the K20D and SMCP-DA 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 ED AL (IF) Autofocus lens.

Huh. That's twice I've tried to link pics from Flickr and they don't show up.

Anyway, here are the last three.
