I can on a lease i was on shot a buck the his spread was outside of his ears. But when you buy the tape to him he wasn't 13 wide.
He call GW and when he got there they explained the situation.
GW walked over held up the ears and side he would have shot him to based on the ears .
He measure him to check it was with in 1/2 -3/4 I don't remember.
But his ears where will inside spread.
He wrote the guy a warning and let his wife keep the deer.
So in some cases the WG Can find wiggle room inside the law.
Why bother writing the warning???

So he could let the guys wife keep the deer, otherwise he would have had to take the deer is how I understood it.

The warden may not write you a ticket for shooting a mature deer like the one pictured, but he darn sure isnít gonna tell you to shoot it if itís alive.

Yep, that buck makes a great case for SSS.

Could a game warden give the approval for him to be shot?

He looks totally different than he did in the other tread he was on today. His belly droops a lot more in these pictures.

If you look closely there are two beams fused together. He most likely damaged the peticles when he first started growing this years antlers. If that is the case he should grow a normal rack next year.

Is this the first year yíall have seen this buck?
