    High-Temp Paint

I’m getting close to finishing my smoker build. What is a good paint to use that will last a decent amount of time? Is the rattle can any good or do I need something different. I do have an air sprayer to use if needed.

    Thanks, Kanyon

Even the high temp burns off on the fire box.

I’m taking my pit to a guy to sandblast and paint. I think he uses this brand.
1200 degrees, but pretty high dollar.

I build grills for a living and use this. I think I am paying around $60 a gallon shipped.

Do you buy this straight from the manufacturer or where do you get it?

Yes it’s best to call them and order. The number is 617-389-2805.

Yeah, I see a big price difference. I guess it’s best to cut out the middle man. Lol
That’s if it’s the same price for all colors. I’m doing flat black.

Someone told me to use caliper paint. Also rated at 1200 degrees. And it's way cheaper too. Gonna give it a try on my smoker

We use VHT paint ar work a lot. I'm sure it would do great on a bbq pit. I haven't ever seen it used on one, and I have never had to buy it. So I'm not sure on price.
