    Scope help

I have a 223 built very light and short for a truck and varmint gun while working at the ranch. 16 inch light barrel and ligh polymer upper. Am looking to put a good scope in the 3 to 9 range that is also very lightweight as well. Had a red dot but need more magnification. Don't want to break the bank either.

    Any suggestions or pics?

    Thanks in advance.

I put a Leupold VX2 ultralight 2-7 on my ultralight AR build. Love it. They make a 3-9 ultralight that weighs just a tad more.

Vortex makes a Diamondback in 2x8. Decent scope for the price.. good for a truck gun.

                    Swarovski all the guns!!!!!!

Some solid suggestions above though. The vx1 or vx2 in a 3-9 is the route I would go
