    Things happen fast!

Well y'all will see lots more of me online now!
While trying to put up C perlings for my carport rafters, I got one up on the posts but forgot the bolt on the ground. Tried to sneak down the ladder and grab the bolt while the 8" by 23 foot beam rested on the posts.....
Didn't work out in my favor
Hit me on the right leg at the knee, knocked me to the cement slab blowing my knee out. Have to see a specialist tomorrow to setup an MRI to see just how bad the damage is.
I thought I was ok until I tried to stand up and my knee buckled to the side in the direction it is not supposed to go. Surgery for sure. Not going to be able to work for a while but that doesn't bother me half as much as not being able to go on the elk hunt or the elk scouting trip I was leaving for on Wednesday.

OUCH, it appears you're carrying your wallet under the skin of your knee....

BTW-I just saw you doe kill video, great work. It's hard to get a kill on camera and you did that plus a few other deer.

Interested to see what the MRI and specialist say. I recently had an accident with similar results. Surgery was nearly 6 weeks ago and I'm still hobbling around and can not fully bend my leg.

hoping for the best for you...

i had my ACL reconstruction in January. just now starting to run, but still no cutting or planting the leg side to side. knee is stiff almost every day, but not that painful.

should keep improving over the next few months. but, i too had to give up a few trips because of it.

Ouch... I have felt that pain... twice! It is no fun. So sorry to read this Corey! Knee injuries requiring surgery are no fun. The good news is you can bounce back from them... Prayers up for physical and "emotional" healing.
