I donít think I have read of more than a couple deadly bites by copperheads.

I saw that, severe allergic reaction. They said within minutes he was unconscious.

Anaphylactic shock - just like some can die from wasp stings I guess. Really bad luck...

Sad deal for sure. That's the crazy thing about venom. A person never knows how their body will react to it until they get bit or stung by something venomous. What hurts one person might be the end of another.

A guy died a couple of years back in Ala. from a rattlesnake bite. I believe in the Anniston / Jacksonville area.
