Default Update on my wreck from last Friday 9/8

As many of yíall saw my wife, my self, our 2 year old and lab were in a head on accident on 59S around the trinity river area. I am going to go bringing up details. I just wanted to check in and say thank yíall for all the knee mail that was sent of these past 7 day.

So far my L2-L4 vertebrae have been fused along with rebuilding the L3 and repairing the left clavicle. Left ankle got repaired today with surgery and some screws. Now itís just PT and taking it day by day.

I figured Iíd also update with some photos....will be truck shopping soon, too bad cause it just got paid off

I was just traveling that same stretch of road yesterday and was thinking about you. I wish it didn't have to happen but a least you kept th he worst of it off of your wife and child.

Glad you are on the mend

Wow that truck took a lick. As bad as it was, your wife and child could have easily lost you that day in such a wreck. I'm really glad that's not the case. Continued prayers for your recovery.

Update...itís been 3 weeks to the day but we are heading home. Pain has been reduced significantly, now itís mostly discomfort which is expected. Will begin outpatient rehab and continue working towards getting better. Maybe Iíll be able to enjoy the last part of hunting season.

Absolutely! I give all this to him as I believe he was protecting me through this. From what Iíve been told by first responders I am very lucky to even be alive. The injuries could have been much worse than they were. I know folks knock Ram trucks but the safety features in that truck really performed as designed.
