I used to until I got a krivoman and buried it about 8 inches in the ground. It seals well enough that I can beat their noses 95 percent of the time. I killed two mature bucks straight down wind of me last year in that setup.

Heck yeah. When I hunted Brady and hunted feeders. I had 3 or more around a feeding area. Where I hunt out of state on public land I took a whole pallet of stands one year I bought on clearance. If wind ain’t right I ain’t hunting it. Plus same stand every sit and they know your there. Especially the way 99% of us Texas hunters just bee bop down the road to the stand. A few hunts and it’s done other than a new traveling deer.

Other than my bomb proof pig stands I can’t remember hunting a deer stand more than 3... maybe 4 sits in a season. Mostly 1-2.... some never, but they are there if needed

Now with a quality stand I can just go in and hunt same trip in and get out if needed

It only took me 6 years to get my set up exactly the way I wanted it. After purchasing a Maverick blind, setting it up on a platform and finally converting to all stand n fill feeders last year, I decided to take a break from the lease to concentrate on some land projects. Sold almost everything and lease-less now.

This is a new set but I think it will be a great stand. I call it the Terrace stand because it's at the end of an erosion control terrace. It's a classic pinch point. The stand is located where 3 ag fields come together along a small creek. There are several trails that intersect near the stand site. Clover/alfalfa mix to the east. Standing corn (will be cut soon) to the north, oats to the west.
