    Red Fish in China

I was eating tonight in China and afterwards I checked out the fresh fish area. These sure look like red fish! Sorry for the pics, glass was coated in condensation.

They farm them over there. Lots of red drum you see for sale in stores in the US came from china. Most didn't come from our 3rd coast.

Interesting! I figured they were farmed as I looked at the "home" range and it was only US/Mexico. Learn something new every day!

They also had a fish that looked just like speckled trout also. THe fish didn't have the sharp teeth like ours do though. I thought it was strange to see those fish over there. One of the guys who moved to China to work in my operation there, would fish the waterway right in town and catch redfish. It was crazy.

The wet markets on mainland China are incredible!!!! heck, they even had logger head turtles for sale so I ain't surprised they would have Red Fish!

Bass is considered a invasive species in Japan.
Figured they would've made it to china by now but guess not
