    Unwritten rules of deer camp

Was wondering what you guys might have to say about some of the “unwritten rules” of a deer camp. Just hopped onto my first lease as a paying member (grew up hunting on a lease with my father) and was curious about some of the do’s and don’ts. Simply curious to hear out some of y’all!

Probably- do unto others as you would want to do to you, (or something like that), as simple as it can be. And don't be an ars.

What happens at deer camp, stays at deer camp. (For the kiddos)

If something needs done, and people are doing it, help, or fetch beers.

Don’t ask what you can do to help, just help.

If you eat, and didn’t cook, wash the dishes.

If you set at the fire, help get firewood.

Don’t bring hookers and blow unless the other guys are good with it. . . you learn some things the hard way.

Don’t be a slob around camp. As dumb as this sounds clean up after yourself, empty the trash cans when you leave. Make sure there is firewood left for the next guy.

It only made us mad because the hookers were transvestites, had they been women it'd been ok.

Last time I put Danny Bonaducci in charge of procurement. Mea culpa. I swear I didn’t know it was family weekend either.

Any of you guys take the wives/girlfriends out? My girl has been wanting to get into hunting.. which I love.. but I don’t want anyone uncomfortable with her around. Has anyone had issues with this in the past? Seems silly but I know a lot of guys head out to the ranch to get away. The fellas at my place seem ok with it.

Leave it cleaner than you found it. And always bring enough to share.

Don't eat the steak if you brought noodles!

Puke as far away as possible!

Don't poke the fire if you ain't a fire poker!

The best seats around the fire pit are based on age!

Must be atleast 40 yrs old to choose music!

                        No empty ice chests!

I’m a dish washing ***** and a firewood getting ***** at my own place.

I do the same and then some of I’m a guest on a lease.

Be more of a producer than a consumer in every aspect. You will fit in well.
