Made a few changes to the boat today and went out to test it out. 163 fishies later I'd have to say that everything worked pretty dang good.

Im goin out this weekend on Lake Palestine. Tried a couple weeks ago on Lake Palestine and the water was just to dang muddy. Hopefully its cleared up some. Cant wait!!

Mrs. Z7_matt, johnS, and I made it out to gibbons today. Shot 11 tilapia but only boated 8 as well as 3 needle nose gar. Had a blast even though we started out slow and we had to work around the clouds. Stopped to take a few pics while we were out there.

goo job guys!!! i hit the navasot a few times. got a bunch of dink gar and buffalo. forgot the dang camera and got NO PICS! did that on both trips. did however find a good hole with a few big gar in it.

mat, save a few talapia for me!! gona be there saturday with the whole family(circus!)

Sounds great! We spoke with the game warden William Cawthorn if I remember correctly. He told us where he had good luck so that's where we went. We could have filled a cooler if we wouldn't have missed so much! Good luck this weekend, wish we could go but my bow is getting a new string on it this weekend hopefully.

Took Little Killer and DeadeyeDeb out last night for a little while. They whipped up on the plecos pretty good. Throw in a couple of two for one shots and it was a pretty good night!

It was so much fun!!!!! A great way to burn off some steam after work!!!!! I can only imagine how many we woulda gotten with an all nighter rather than 4 hours!!!!!
