    New Zealand bound

Well boys and girls, its about that time. I have been planing this one for 2 years! Me and a buddy are leaving tomorrow for the hunt of a lifetime! I will attempt a Red Stag with my bow and John will be going after Bull Tahr with smoke pole.

The anxiety over all the planning and what ifs and what did I forget has been mind numbing. I have watched no less that 50 YouTube videos and read many books about the country itself.

On top of that my broke foot form that MLK day foot chase is not 100%. I sure hope it holds up for this journey.

I am dialed in up to 70 yards, but hope for a chip shot lol.

The clean out sale on here and some savings has me close to adding a fallow and maybe my own Bull Tahr! That will have to be with a rifle. I understand its almost impossible to get that close to a Tahr.

I will do my best to make this live as possible guys.

Good luck, I would recommend Kenetrek boots, the orthopedic one for max stability. Who are you going with? My Wife and I are headed over on July 1 for stag/tar/chamois for each of us, so we are excited also. (wife wants to shoot a bigger stag than me which is ok lol)

We are booked for next year for stag and possibly tahr, so keep the updates coming.

Awesome!! Make the Tahr hunt happen! You won’t regret it! One of my most favorite times is being on a mountain stalking Tahr
