South Texas Pics - Another Year

It is too early to start this year's picture thread, but I am going to do it anyway....

Here are the first few pics of some early growers from one feeder. Most (80%) of the bucks are well behind these overachievers. Over the next 3 weeks, we will see lots of development by the majority of the bucks. I will be sure to add more pics as more deer start to show off their potential.

Wow! I can't believe how far along they are! Another 3 weeks or so and we will start getting cameras out.....but you are making these 3 very long weeks

Looking awesome, I usually have cameras out by now but this year I decided to wait until August ..... dang heat is tough on some cameras!

Holy cow! The furtherest along buck I can find is at his G-2's. Nothing close to these guys. I can't wait to see what this year brings. We've had some good, timely rain so maybe we can get something to pop this year! Good luck and keep posting!

I normally put a variety of supplements. Minerals, alfalfa, medicated protein, etc... As you know, deer are curious and will always check that tub first, so if I have something I want them to eat or focus on, I put it in the tub.

I think I do.... One or two of them are throwing me off, so I need to get some better daylight pics. I need to compare an ear and some throat patches to be certain.

Just WOW, I've got to get my cameras out. I see you have the same problem with your protein feeder as I do. Thinking about putting some "stops" on to keep it from piling up like that - or maybe not if that is the result lol
