To a man, every single Kennedy advisor pressed him to go to war during the latter days of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Kennedy himself was the stand-alone against war at that juncture. Where would we be if he had blindly followed his advisors?

He is ticking off not only the Dems but also the very ppl he appointed or placed on his cabinet.

This makes no sense at all.
Why hire a lawyer but then choose to represent yourself in the middle of trial?
The lawyers/advisors you hired to representyou obviously know more about these issues than you do so let them do their job and guide you correctly.

I'm really curious as to whom got him to back out of this thing.
The CEO of Blackrock (who Trump appointed as an advisor) has shunned him for it.
The markets (and my forex accounts) are tumbling because of his decision.

          So surreal....
You got both feet stuck in your mouth by posting this. Good luck getting them out.

oh, BTW - all US markets hitting record highs again today

This is exactly the kind of thing his voters wanted. Advisers give advise, they don't dictate choice or opinion.

Valerie Jarrett to Obama being the exception.

Hank Hill nailed it with his above post. Anyone who thinks the Paris accord was about anything other than those greedy little socialist %$^holes across the pond (and no doubt some here) lining pockets is a fool.

                Summed it up:
I Was Elected To Represent The Citizens of Pittsburgh, Not Paris

I wonder how they feel about "global warming".

Why can't we have electorate votes on stuff like removing Confederate statues, gay marriage and international environmental bills?

Let the nation take a vote on if we should kill off coal production. LoL

The nation did take a vote, they elected a candidate that promised to pull out of the Paris Accord and he did. Shocking, I know.

I'm more concerned about how the folks he's hired to advise him go against him publicly on the issues they are hired to advise him on
Also, you stated yourself that you don't care about the environment side of the Paris Accord (which is completely bogus to begin with). So what exactly are you concerned with? That Trump's advisors don't always agree with him? That's why they're advisors, if they give the OK to everything thing you propose then they are useless yes-men, not advisors.

Probably the same way people in conservative cities felt about health care.

So, you start a completely failed thread, and then you come back with this?

The real concern is that President Obama illegally entered us into what amounts to an international treaty that would potentially destroy portions of our energy sector (mainly coal and small and mid-level O&G) without the consent of congress - and did so predicated on the patently false pretense that it would reduce global carbon emissions.

The research and findings of the research related to the Paris Accord is seriously laughable anyways. It was like they all got together and said "hey we need to make this look like this is actually about the environment, get that intern to do 5 minutes of research and write a conclusion that actually is embarrassing to our supposed cause if anyone were to actually look at it."
