last minute UPS and more West TX baseball!!!

Well with 15mins to spare before leaving for the game, the new Nikon showed up at the casa....finally!! I was tearing into it like a kid at Christmas. Throw the battery in the charger, get lenses, camera.....get it all together....come on battery, hurry up. Dash out of the house with the D40 and 55-200mm VR. This was a learn as I shoot session, literally. Light was good in the early innings but started fading in the latter. Shooting through the backstop fence isn't good. Luckily, I know coaches on both teams and dugout access isn't a problem. Here are a few of the more than 50 pics I took. Some were deleted instantly and others were deleted on the PC.

None of these are great by any means but shooting with the new camera sure was fun. The Phillies won and are still undefeated this season.

I got a "camera bag" today in Lubbock that will hold camcorder and all my camera stuff. Got a new tripod too. I couldn't drop the $$$ on the Manfrotto or how ever you spell it. That thing was high!! You guys and the camera thing are costing me alot of money.

Tell me about it! I came home today from shooting pics and sporting clays, and my wife told me about the new refrigerator she is planning to buy at Lowe's. I asked, "how much?'.

                            $2,600!

                            I said, "Wow!"

She said, "Well, how much have you spent on camera stuff lately?"

                            I'm toast.
