Well seeing as how many blind builds I've seen lately I'll toss mine in there. Im in the construction industry and quite often get to take home extra material that is destined for the dumpster. Well this past job yielded 47 sheets of 3/4" plywood and several hundred feet of 2x4s of varying lengths from a temporary wall so I did what any tbh'er would do with material...build a new blind!!! Originally was gonna build it 6x8 but had other plans for the majority of the plywood for my new house so cut the size to 6x6. It's all framed out in 2x4s that are secured to 4x6skids. Had some galvanized flashing and stainless drip edge from another job so I trimmed out the roof and ripped some cedar fence pickets for the trim around the windows. Built a shooting shelf inside and carpeted it and the floor. Painted it with some exterior latex I had in the garage and put in some DeerView windows. Overall I think it turned out pretty nice. I somehow vastly miscalculated the weight however which was quite possibly due to a few anheiser Busch products while estimating the weight. The tractor barely got it off the trailer lol so I guess my plans of building a platform for it are out lol. Hopefully I'll get to have the inaugural hunt out of it this weekend! The last couple pics are from the feeder and looking towards the feeder.
