Acorns Galore!

Was looking at the oaks and this small branch, about 18-20" long had 47 acorns on it---and most likely explains why I'm seeing little to no traffic at my place.

My gutters are full of acorns. They are absolutely everywhere.

That was us last year. Was a tough year to hunt. Almost not this year at my place thankfully.

Set out a feeder last week and barely had a doe and fawn at it this evening. Scrub oaks full of acorns everywhere.

I hunted my “football” field yesterday. It’s about the size of a football field and surrounded by dense red oaks. I watched several deer eat all around the edges and the middle...never once did they come close to the corn. Strangest thing I’ve ever seen.

all the acorns in my back yard seem to find the bottom of my swimming pool.
....they will leave a nasty little stain in the plaster, too.
