Beautiful buck down in burnet county.

Well I have some history with this deer I watch him last year and he was slick 8. I thought he was 4 and could use one more year. I got him on camera right in late September and he had put on about 10" but I only had night pictures of him. About a 2 weeks ago he started showing up about every three days in the day light. Yesterday was the first chance I got to hunt. It's was a very wet hunt I was soaked by dark and he never showed. Today I got in the stand about 3:30. This is a set I only hand corn there's no feeder. Within 10 minutes of getting in the stand deer standing coming out like crazy I had 9 does and 1 small 8. About 5 min later he came walking. I had been in the stand a total of 15 minutes when I let an arrow fly on this guy. He came in and presented me with a 25 yard broadside shot. I double lunged him with a wasp jack-hammer he made it about 70 yards and was done. Not the biggest I've killed with my bow but he's dang sure a good deer for the area I hunt.
