    Horseradish & Bacon Devilled Eggs

This is my flea-flicker on saturdays and sundays for football.

    12 eggs
    2 tsp horseradish
    2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1/3 cup mayonnaise
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    6 slices of bacon (crumbled)
    1/2 cup chopped chives (optional)

Boil and peel your eggs. Slice them in half. Put the yolks in a bowl and mash them up. Then add the next 5 ingredients. Sprinkle the bacon & chives on top and watch them disappear.

Had to hurry and snap a pic before they were gone! Turned my back and my 6 were inhaled.

Tried it out tonight. Cut the mayo in half an only a dash of salt. No bacon.

      It was really good.

Boy, I’m an idiot. Forgot a key ingredient!!!! 4 oz.cream cheese (softened)

        The ingredient list should be...

        12 eggs
        2 tsp horseradish
        2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
        4 oz. cream cheese (softened)
        1/3 cup mayonnaise
        1/4 tsp salt
        1/2 tsp pepper
        6 slices of bacon (crumbled)
        1/2 cup chopped chives (optional)

Mix in the cream cheese when you’re adding the other ingredients.

Does this make sense? I can try and talk to a moderator about getting the original post changed.

I could eat a dozen deviled eggs without taking a breath....haven't tried cream cheese and bacon but pretty sure i know those will improve it!

usually we try to cut the mayo back and substitute brown mustard. light on the horseradish too.

my mom taught me the trick of adding a sliced black olive to each one - man it is a cherry on top!

A little trick for stuffing the eggs - put all of your ingredients in a zip lock sandwich bag. Let most but not all of the air out and seal. Mash with your hands, mixing everything well. Cut about 1/8" corner out of the bottom of the bag. Squeeze into the egg halves.

Toss the bag when you are done! Swish and flick!
