To piggyback off Radars thread, I've been meaning to do a thread for awhile since I saw the first ones of his a year or so ago. I really like to see trough pics myself as it brings out animals you don't always catch on trail camera.
My trough is technically a giant black tub in my best feedpen bought at TSC .....and kept filled by 550 gallons of water totes we fill when needed. These are from Mid July to late August when they use the most water and that they did. They and the sun emptied all 550 gallons a few days or so before I got there. 4000 pics and I pulled the best ones.
Anyway on with the pics....I'll have to do multiple posts.
Porcupines and some turf wars with coons, deer and skunks.. I need to whack these as the LO wants them all gone because they are hell on their horses and cows. It started out as one but I guess he went and got his girlfriends or buddies to eat the scrap protein and drink some good water. We are up to three now here. As you can see they kinda rule the roost.
Couple of hawks...not sure what either are so maybe yall could help me out. I do know the little bastage or one like him was dive bombing my turkey decoys in a field up the road some. Dive bombing and raising all kinds of squealing racket. Its a good thing they are protected. He was cruising for a bruising..
Some miscellaneous critters like skunks and squirrels..
