You definitely fished with the Master. After the trips I've had in the last year, I may need to take some lessons from Michael. I used to limit out regularly, now I'm lucky to catch a handful for sandies per trip.

I just moved back to the Bell County area, Rogers to be exact, but as a young man we grew up fishing the Leon starting around Mother Neff State Park and down towards Lake Belton and at Lemons Camp. That was in the late 60's so not sure what is still avaliable.

I would dearly love to do this again. I know it am late for this year but keep me in mind when it becomes times next year. I am retired so that helps in planning for sure!

I have loaded stringers on the Leon and at Lemmons Camp with Whitey's when it was right! Would love to do that again.

GPS barked 3 times at speed and he shut her down. Hung the anchor on the bridge rail. He was one of a kind.
