65% or 80% letoff?

I have a bet with a friend of mine who thinks the number of 80% letoff bowhunters compared to 65% letoff bowhunters is 5:1.

I think the number is closer to 10:1 or higher.

Who do you think is correct? We're talking about hunters, not 3D or target shooters.

Most bows made these days have 80% let off. So if someone bought a bow in the last 3 years it will be 80% unless they are serious about entering book bucks, and ordered a 65% cam. Some people dont even make 65% cams any more. So it is a crazy high number of 80% shooters. And all my bows are 65% or less!!

I prefer 65% and all of mine are. I have shot the 80% and my accuracy suffers. I could care less about entering any books, it is more a performance choice for me.

Mine is an old Hoyt Reflex bow with 65%. Cant wait to get a 80% er.

I ordered my Drenlin with a 65% 60lb and shoot it better than my XT 80% 70lb. That being said, I bet it's at least 10:1...

65 or 80 percent, you can enter animals in P&Y with either, they just put an * next to your entry with anything over 65%. Probably closer to 10 to 1.
