    AR restriction question

Is there any work around for the antler restrictions? I’ve had one buck showing up for a couple years now with a full rack on one side and a split spike on the other. Don’t really want him out breeding again this year and was wondering if there is sometime I could do.

    Culling doesn’t work

Honestly it probably wouldn’t have an impact if he did live. So what if he breeds, the buck is not the only one that determines the outcome of the offspring. So one option is to let it live and not risk it. As far as I know there is no work around.

The other option is well... I’ll let you figure that one out.

The law is in place to protect younger deer and that deer breading won’t make a difference.

Had this buck on my hit list last year and was expecting to have a double drop this year.

I would have to go back and check my pics but pretty sure this deer is one of the older I’ve ever had on camera that I recognize from year to year.

If it has a full rack on one side and a split spike on the other, I doubt that is from genetics but from some kind of injury.

Agree. If his full side looks good I'd judge him off of that.

Just let him go and enjoy being able to watch a mature deer. Most likely broke out his scull cap when shedding

Cull him out. What could happen?

Atleast two that I’ve watched so far, he hasn’t looked injured for the past couple years that I could see just wondering if there was anything else I could do

Him breeding isn’t going to change a thing with your herd so stop sweating it.
