That looks like a great time. I also understand that those cars FLY and they SCREAM from the amount of RPM's.

Be really cool if you could post a video of the cars going around the track.

Jealous...have fun amigo. Why stock car racing is more popular than F1 is mind boggling. Amazing machines.

REALLY hoping I can get the ZL1 to COTA next year...dying to hit this track.

That's awesome. We had a pit and wall pass once. Standing next to that wall with those cars going by is incredible. It was a Ferrari FXX-K event, but F1s were there too. Just amazing.

Use to live about 6 miles from there when it was still ranch land, between Elroy and HWY 21. That whole area has changed.

Have fun.

Yep, a little further than I thought but my wife loves the Granduca brand. Plus, the Ferrari Club is staying here and rumor has it that the Ferrari Team is bringing one of the F1 cars for folks to gawk at!

The wife is foodie so I dont know if she will geaux for traditional stuff......especially after COTA food/drinks all day. Dinner last night was off the charts good. The entire staff was 1st class!

Mt grandfather used to sharecrop a farm within site of COTA.

One of our clients was hauling 6000 tons of base in to try and make a quick RV parking area. Its a bit wet out there.

Practice runs were crazy fast in this drizzly weather. I now have confirmed these boys are........ crazy!!! Back ends are sliding/fishtailing, two cars left the circuit, plumes of water so huge u can't see the cars going away. Thankfully nothing destroyed or no injuries, so far!. I suspect the qualifying tomorrow is gonna be highly competitive. Met folks from England, Spain, Mexico and Germany. The pics are from our skybox on Turn 6! Really like the setup for the next two days!

Looks like a fun time. I turned down a free ticket on Sunday from a vendor. Worked all year getting everything ready for deer season, I'm not going to pass up these temps and finally no rain in the forecast. Should be interesting though as it rained hard on the lease all week.
