Pumpkin seeds - yummy , yummy

I love oven roasted pumpkin seeds.......simple to fix and great snack food

use a colander and separate seeds from pumpkin guts

place seeds and spread them out in a large baking tray

add 2-3 tspns of butter, lightly sprinkle top of seeds with salt or Tony's

place in oven on 350* for 10-12 minutes

stir seeds with a spoon every 3-4 minutes so they cook evenly

i like mine well done, but not burnt

remove seeds from the oven depending on your taste

cool and serve ...... several pumpkins (seeds) work best as the seeds from 1 pumpkin won't last 24 hrs (I know from experience)

I've been making oven roasted pumpkin seeds for over 20 yrs and my kids will argue who gets the last one

We always boil them in salty water first. Then we roast them in the oven.

Pumpkin is cleaned, carved to a Jack O Lantern and seeds are awaiting the oven. Nice night time snack for Mom and Dad.
