    Pics from Santa Fe, NM.

The wife and myself just spent a few days in Santa Fe, NM. Beautiful country and beautiful scenes. I'm going to load up a few pics over the next few nights. If you ever get the chance, GO. Especially this time of year or maybe four weeks later. Just awesome scenery.

    Plenty of different shots coming...

Nice! Do you think you could live there? I am wondering if it could be a retirement spot.

This is one of the most photographed, drawn, churches in North America. Or, at least we were told. I don't get it, but apparently it's an artist thang.

More. The pigeon landing was pure luck.

It's a big retirement spot. Land and housing seem to be expensive. The weather was perfect. Dry and cool. Didn't break a sweat in five days. Including a death march hike that i'll post pics of later. Beautiful scenery. But, you'd have to get used to hunting some different animals. It was awesome. We'll go back for sure. Probably in a late September to check the fall foliage.

                    Rio Grande Gorge

Deep sucker. No idea why the water looked so nasty,

                      Ghost Ranch

Many movies filmed here. Georgia O'Keefe's favorite spot.

                        Tent Rocks

Very cool. We hiked from bottom to top. Very challenging for me, being old and fat. But worth the effort.

                            and more Tent Rocks...

Last two pics taken from the bottom to the top. You can see the people at the top for reference of height.

                              Crazy lighting

These were taken outside of Espanola. I have no idea what made this happen. One of the coolest things i've ever seen. Our hosts said this happens all the time in the same spot.
