I think I probably just killed my buck of a lifetime in Oklahoma!! Big Bone and I have been hunting at his ranch in Oklahoma for the last 5 years now. He has killed some awesome bucks there and we have always had good bucks on cam but I have yet to kill one of the monsters and usually punch my tags with culls. This year was different!! I shot this buck on October first of 2015 and hit him low in the leg and never recovered him. 2 years later to the day and almost to the minute of my non lethal shot I FINALLY get redemption! The way this hunt went down was simply a gift from god and I am blessed!
It really is hard to put in words what this buck and most of all the time big bone and I get to spend in the woods together means to me. Thanks again hoss!
