    Trailer light question

I bought some new LED stop/turn/driving lights for my stock trailer. I didn't realize I bought the ones that look white until they turn on. They are red when they light up. Is there anything illegal about them being white when they are not light up on the back of the trailer?

I tried to google White tail lights Texas and all I got was Texas hunting of whitetail deer.

As long as they illuminate red, you should be fine.

I've not had any issue with them

I think you are o.k. I see them on 18 wheelers all the time.

According to this I don't even need lights. I just need two red reflectors.

You might be reading that wrong Stink, unless your trailer is over 80" wide and longer than 30' then it would fall under different regulations but everything within that range requires in the rear to have:
2 red reflectors one on each side
2 red stop lamps one each side
            electric turn signal lamps
            white plate light
            tail lamps
farm and fertilizer trailers only require the red reflectors, stock trailers are not farm trailers
