So, I was going through my old stuff and found my 8800 I bought in 2005. It still works and takes some really nice pictures. However, I get the following message when a flash is needed, "Speedlight is in closed position". I get this message even thought the speedlight has popped up, so I am guessing its a sensor or some sort.
Do any of you work on cameras or know any one who does. I know this is an old camera but its still good. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on a new one if its not needed.
