Benchmade. My new favorite has to be the crooked river.

They hold a edge for the longest time.

I got the two knife kit in Augst as a anniversary gift was very shocked . Came with the 3 knife holster though so they ( store) must have sold one or lost it .. First time I have ever had one or used one .. I really like them hope to use them on my bear or elk tag in 10 days

Thats a nice set, but where is the spot for the 3rd knife? If on the back its for a sharpening stone that they must have lost. Knives of Alaska makes a heck of a product and that little skinner is my favorite knife ever. It can skin 4 or so whitetail before needing touch up.

My name is Don, and I'm a knife junky. I have and have had, a bunch of knives, but I've never seen one do a better job of gutting a deer, splitting the sternum, and quartering, than the Buck Vanguard with a guthook. The only thing it's not great at is reaming the butt hole. You really need a longer smaller blade for that, but who wants to carry two knives ? (ME. Told you I was a junky) Lately I've been using an Outdoor Edge Razor Blaze and it does well also. I have a nice Knives of Alaska, but it doesn't imoress me. I have a handmade by Dustin Williams that I like too. Here's a pic of it.

My go to is a neck knife made by Jason Wilder. 2.5” blade

Scalpel sharp if I strop it.

I got a Cutco fixed blade 3 years ago and that's
the sharpest knife I've ever seen.
