    Axis T-bone Sous-Vide

Decided to try a new method after picking up a Sous Vide machine from Anova.

I vacuum sealed the Axis Tbone with some garlic and butter and then put it in the water bath for 4 hrs at 129 degrees

then i added some pepper and sea salt before searing the steak in hot olive oil with a little bit of butter.
it was the most tender piece of axis i have ever eaten.
I will definitely come back to this and try other things with this cooker.

I only took one picture after i had cut the steak to share it.
should have taken one of the full steak first.

We did ribeyes like that at the fire station. Turned out really good. Key was to go w heavy cracked black pepper during the searing Also a little butter and basil basting

Looks great. I got an Anova for Father's Day and have been using it quite a bit. I'm still learning what cook times I like for certain cuts of meat. I've left some cuts in too long which changes the texture way too much, but overall it's a great tool for the kitchen.

I don't have a sous vide machine either. But I saw online how you can use a "yeti" bag cooler. I've been planning on trying it, now I think I'm gonna have to try it sooner.
