The money PointsBet will pay back is nothing compared to what they will make from this decision on future bets and customers. I don't gamble but if I did, I would do business with this company who isn't afraid to refund money on egregious blown calls.


Goodell and the league's attorneys have already confirmed the NFL will get a percentage of all gambling revenue generated on professional football games. With books refunding the money bet on Rams v. Saints, this will not look good for the NFL. Let's not forget Referees and Officials are employed by the NFL and they can have a direct influence on the game outcome as well as millions lost or won.

Wont be the first or last. The reason the game was won or lost was the score after 60 minutes of play. They had a chance to overcome the adversity and came up short plain and simple. All sports are played this way. If you can recover from these events that are thrown you way you win if not you loose.

Thanks for the pep talk but the calls were blatant and directly in front of the guy that should call them. And if you knew anything about Saints you'd understand they overcome adversity on the regular.

Aint a pep talk its sports- been this way since before I played and my son deals with it now going through sports. Guess what- overcome adversity thrown your way or loose. You and your team have control of nothing other than outscoring your opponent. Don't come home blaming the outcome on a call or two. Put the throttle down and keep going so it does not come down to a call or two. I wanted to see the Saints. They had plenty of opportunities and did not put the game away. Loosing was a result.
