    Turkey Fan Mount

I found this lady on etsy that does creative wood burning art work. She is pretty talented and has a lot of great pieces. I asked her to help me create this piece. I am really happy with the way it turned out. She just did the art work, i put the rest of it together. I am going to have her complete a full series with the Eastern, Merriam's and Osceola for my grand slam (once i harvest them). The bird was shot this springs, 10" beard and 1.5" spurs. My best Rio to date.

Sweet. How did you do that setup with the spurs?

Just saw through the bone on each side of the spur. Take a knife and remove the the skin and flesh to the bone. Use a qtip to clean out the bone marrow. Soak in hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes to clean up and blood left. If you do it within a few days the bone will be nice and white, if you wait to long the bone turns yellowish.

The rest of it is just #95 paracord and some wood beads I found at hobby lobby.
