    Their website confuses me.

It states, "2 day Axis Deer hunt. Includes 2 Nights lodging. Price per day with a 2 day minimum."

Further down it states, "Payment Info: Payment is for 1/2 down ($350.00). The remaining ($350.00) is due upon arrival."

So is it $700 for both days or $700 a day?

When we went it was $350/day for the exotic hunts. No kill fee.

Give him a call, probably will get your question answered faster
FYI - thanks for your suggestion. I called the Bar-J the other day and spoke with Barry (the owner). He said he never received my email, and apologized for not seeing the message from me. Bottom line is you need to call and speak with Barry regarding any special requests or exceptions. BTW, he was very friendly and easy to talk to. My son and I are discussing a hunt there later this year.

              Regards,

              Dave

Me and my daughter went their in March and won’t go back. Barry and his dad are very nice, and the place is nice, just understand they keep the cost low because not everyone kills their animal. I will go with a reputable outfitter that will try everything to give us a shot opportunity.

Am I mistaken or did their fees drastically change?

Yes they did... but I would think you have better chances to kill now

looks like their prices went way up, but they allow rifle hunting now.
