I'll be holding what I presume to be the most beautiful little girl to have ever graced my path. Emmie Marie will be making her debut at 10am tomorrow!
This whole experience is new to us, even though we already have a little boy (who many of you are familiar with). We didn't get to experience the anticipation and excitement that comes with knowing you're upon your due date, and knowing your baby is healthy by all indications. Instead of the congratulatory remarks that I presume will come with tomorrow, we're only privy to sympathy and apologies. I'm overcome with excitement!!
Should you find a spare moment, a prayer for both momma and Emmie would be welcomed. Most of you will echo my sentiments here; children bring an immeasurable amount of joy to my life. God is good!
