I'm in need of some ideas for a duck pond that is not expensive but isn't to time consuming. I don't want to have dump the water out everyday?

What are you working with to start off? An existing pond you are looking to plant in? A wide open pasture? Give me some more details and I may be able to give some advice, I've seen quite a few man made marshes and raw marshes where planting has been done! -
Call the USDA in your area and let them know what you want to do. They should have some who can come out and help you survey and lay out your pond.Comment

Sorry for the long wait in response but It is currently an open pasture. I was wanting some type of maybe plastic where it would be easy to clean and change the water ducks are nasty messy beast!!Comment
