how do these add speed to your bow.. i was always told the more weight you add to your string the less speed you will get.. makes no sense to me.

They do work, they are placed close to the cams, 2" or so. If you are putting them on for the first time, you will need to have a chrono and very time comsuming, moving them closer and further on the string.

Check out the speed bumps on dang near every bow you buy near the cam or cams. Its were the weight is added...
