Unfortunately this will not end well for him even though he was probably well within his right to discharge his weapon. This will get politicized and he will be tried in the court of public opinion.

Yup. And the media will be attacking Trump over this saying this is what happens when you call people "animals".

LOL.……...one of the comments, "a feel good story!"
I wonder what was different with this encounter? I hope all BP is on high alert going into a long weekend.

"CBP needs to train agents to de-escalate these encounters by taking cover, moving out of range and/or using less lethal weapons. Agents should not place themselves into positions where they have no alternative to using deadly force, the review concluded."

Taking cover??? Why even have border patrol if they have to take cover?

On second thought, that's a great idea: let's build a giant wall all along the border so our BP have a shelter to take cover behind.

Right.

For being such a racist, immigrant hating country... Why is it so many are STILL tripping over themselves to get here?

the cnn article was almost laughable the way they made it seem like the agent just offed the girl.

I used to work for CBP in Field Operations. The agency will NEVER back an agent. NEVER EVER. The Border Patrol Union will be the only one saving his ***. If those wets had killed the BP agent CNN and their ilk wouldn't even report it.

This is the same crap Bush and Obama did with the ROE's in Iraq and Afghanistan.
