    Help needed in port Arthur

    Guys,
    If anyone's available for high water rescues via boat or lifted truck in port Arthur and groves, help is needed desperately. Stuck in Dallas and I'm just passing this along.

    Pretty sure coast guard took over and sent civilians home. I went by about an hour ago and they sent me home. I only had my truck with 3" lift.

      They were staging at the Max bowl on 9th...pretty sure the only access now is by boat.

        Yeah, most is boat only from what I'm hearing.
        There are civilians running boats now.

          Well that's good to hear. I was surprised they sent a few people home-they need all the help they can get.

                Facebook posts saying they still need help at Max Bowl. Water is receding here at my place. Hope it is there too.

                  I have about 4" to go here in bridge city and it's coming in my house. Storm is moving pretty good just not sure it's fast enough.

                      Dodged a bullet. Didn't realize how good of a place we bought but it's a blessing. Had an inch or less to get in the house when it slacked up and started draining off

                          Yes quite a bit. We are without power but at least it's daylight and we can see what we are dealing with
