I think the 2nd pic, bordered in black, is freaking AWESOME!!!

That pic has attitude and to my eye it stands out. Course it probably will not fly for most Sports Media channels.....they want action for the most part but from a pure feel shot...thats the one.

Yea that's my favorite picture as well. I have a another copy with the white stripes actually a burnt orange that looks even better in my opinion of coarse.

Thanks, yes I was in the upper deck. I was using my Canon 50D and my Canon 70-300 F4-5.6 USM IS lens zoomed all the way to 275 with an F5.6, ISO at 1250, Shutter Speed was 1/49 sec., Exposure Time 1/50 Exposure Comp was +0.7.

Nice! If you'd crop that 2nd pic a little......crop off the left side right about at the vertical gray line that appears. That'd get rid of the piece of some other dude's stick on the left edge, and it would move the subject off-center a little. That's a cool pic. Congrats!
