4yrs. Would be hard to pass if I actually saw him. Depends on what else you have around those parts.

      He will get better

I bet he hits 140- 150 next year
That is a big bodied deer. Over 200lb for sure.

Honestly based on pics I can just get him to 5 but that is so heavily based on body size that it wouldn't be nothing to kill that deer and he have the teeth of a really healthy 3.5 to 4.5 yo deer.

Those beams are sweet. Based off just those pictures my guess is 5 yr old. Depending on what all bucks I had on cam in immediate and in surrounding areas, combined with the history of whether mature bucks usually show up on that place later in year would determine hit list or no. For me anyway...

This is what I'm thinking but I don't think I could pass him up on my place

                  5 plus.
I don't see a skinny neck.....front end is as large rear.

I would say at least 5. Could be older. To me it is hard to see any difference between anything older than 5 unless they are really old for buck in east and southeast Texas. Maybe just because they are rare in most places. Sometimes, the 6+ seem to be flabby in the brisket while in velvet, but can't see that in blurry pictures

4.5 - 5.5. And he is a broad banded water snake. You can tell by the eyes.

5.5 is my guess. More pics and pics with other deer always help me out this time of year.

Solid deer, and on some of my places he would be on the hit list. But on one of my places in particular, I would give him a pass. You take a lot of kids out and I think he would be a perfect candidate for one of them.

                          I'm guessing at least 5.

I agree it's hard sometimes trying to figure out age on some this time of year.

To me he looks like a 6 yr old. It is hard to say with any accuracy other then "mature" being 4.5 or older. Our 6-8 yr olds seem to be big and boxy like this guy. Now and post rut are equally difficult to age deer. Its all for fun anyways. Hit list him if you got the right hunter for him!

It dont take much for me to put them on the hit list...just show up!

                              Yes, hit him!
