A couple of us here have had a problem seeing our pins when we hunt out of ground blinds due to the darkened interior of the blind. Here is a simple solution.
First you need an 11/2 CPVC collar the the hardware store, black electrical tape, and a True Glow Extreme Light. Using a hack saw cut a 3/4 strip off the end of the cpvc collar.
Next hold this strip up to your sight and mark where the sight bracket is, this should allow you to leave 2/3 of the collar intact to grip the sight housing and hold it with a friction fit. Place the notched collar around the sight housing and mark the top vertical position on the collar, remove the collar drill and tap it. Using emory cloth lightly sand the collar to remove any burrs and ready it for a coat of flat black paint.
The next step is to take a sharpie marker and cover the "animal/target" side of the pin to prevent light from showing through.
Then take you electrical tape and take one roll around the fiber coil to prevent any light from escaping there as well. With scissors locate the very top vertical position on the tape and nortch a 1/4 hole in the tape to allow the True Glow light to shine through.
The final step is to attach the light to the collar and snap the light in place, you can remove it in the off season for target shooting.
As you can see this setup hides almost all light from the game side of the bow while giving a very visible pin from the archer side.
Hope this helped!
