    East Central Texas Living advice?

I’m looking at buying some land between Mt Enterprise and Davey Crockett area with a pond for fishing and take a few young chicken fryer does, squirrels and such.

I’m also looking for a place to escape Hill Country during Mt Cedar pollen season.

My question is what good medical facilities are in the area? I’m also retired military so any facilities as such I could use too.

I know I can zip up to Shreveport or over to Alexandria La.

I’m from Bama so the scenery suits me better. The rest of Texas is as ugly as Hillary Clinton to me.

    Thanks

If you move a little more South you are closer to Houston or Conroe but still in the sticks and national forest. Never lived their but I have always loved Cleveland, New Waverly, Woodville, Crockett areas.

Look S of Lufkin down 94 toward Apple Springs and that general area. Not far from Lufkin, plenty of woods, and big deer. Fence your yard or the hogs will roto-till it for you.

Make sure and buy a place on the West side of a lake. Less wind/storms. And DO NOT buy a place ON the lake.

If you think the hill country is ugly and you want to move to east Texas there is something seriously wrong with you. Go back to ****hole Alabama.

                      BTW, it's a tank, not a pond.

                        I should add:

There is no escape from Mt Cedar Pollen in E. Texas.

Never even stopped in the city. School looks nice when I drive through to go back home to LA.

Lot of land for sale in Cherokee County and prices are low.

I prefer Panola, Shelby, or Rusk County though.
