Beavers Bend State Park ?

Beavers Bend has some outstanding fishing. BuckHand used to go every year. I went a couple of years ago and had an absolute blast. I caught 90% of my fish on a 1/8oz Mepp’s in-line spinner in firetiger color. Find moving water with big boulders. Cast on the up current side and basically just keep the lure off bottom while it drifts around the big boulders. Fish will be on the down current side. My biggest was 28” when we went.

What are the licensing requirements for the state park. Headed there Thursday

If I recall, you can do a 1 day for $15, or $35 for 6 day. It’s $55 for non resident annual. You can buy them there at the main office/museum as you enter the state park area. Best of luck
