Works for me, I just can't get past inhaling all of that stuff. I know it doesn't hurt you, but when I see a big cloud of smoke rolling out of my pop up it makes ya think.

Don't think it matters I only hunt open air in a climber and worked every time for me!! They work no matter what!! IMO

If it covers a 15 foot area and you had it 10 feet away from you, you were outside the effective range of it. If 15 feet is the rule, you need to be withen 7.5 feet max of the unit.

Set it under you, let the smoke come up around you. I wont hunt without mine.

This season my blind heater ran out of propane (brother didnt let me know) I took the pad out of the thermacell and kept my hands pretty warm that hunt.

No complaints here.

It works for me. I don't put it under me. I just set it about foot away from me cause the smoke itself bothers me. Never had any issue. It does work for me as I can see from when I sit in and the bugs and Mosquitos flying around. As soon as I turn it on, it clears em up!

I swear by mine. I hunted in east texas quite a bit during bow season and the misquitos were terrible but it kept them away from me!
